The most rock inspired composition on this album. The intro kicks in right of the top with distorted guitars, drums/bass. I even mixed some sharp knife samples. My idea of this track was a combination of funky guitars/drums, mixed with my idea of layered sounds. The second section has 5-6 guitar parts – flying across each other – developing themes – melodic hooks coming from everywhere. Sort of like my thought process – a little scattered. The middle really asked for a kickass solo – so I decided to throw one in. I love the idea of a developing solo – some flash, melody, and a solo that takes you somewhere – this solo has all that in mind.
